That's what this place is... Florida. I made it today, complete with all the luggage that didn't get stolen by shifty baggage workers. All flights were as cramped and long as anticipated and I didn't sleep well. So far, it's exactly as I figured. Northwest airlines will sell you an expensive ticket to ride in a freezing cold airplane with plenty of other uncomfortable people, as well as the "meal" that they serve. What happened to free meals? ..and snacks?!?! i paid for them this time too. The box of snacks, I wish I would have taken a picture.... I didn't so here's the 1000 words.
One bag of salted cashews, one pepperoni stick, two small extrusions of gudda cheese, 1 package of 3 "Stoned Wheat" crackers, raisins, and a lemon pastry of some kinda that I didn't investigate very closely due to poor color choices on it's individual packaging. The wrappers alone for all the items enclosed would barely fit back into the 2"x5"x8" box the "food" came in. -- $5 and nowhere near 1000 words.
We waited on our last flight (Atlanta-Sarasota) for almost 2 hours due to "machanical problems" being fixed... or we hoped so. Worth waiting for, but they really need to put some beds in the airport somewhere for sure. Sleep-deprived for two nights in a row (a total of maybe 5 sleeping hours inside of 60) and still kickin.... now it's bedtime. No jet-lag for me, it doesn't have a prayer.
